Rottingdean is a lovely spot for afternoon tea or a spot of rock pooling. The village is also an access point into the stunning South Downs, perfect for walks in the English countryside, and the beach is just a stone’s throw away for stunning views and revitalising sea air. History permeates the little village - The Domesday book records that the land was given to William de Warrenne, the Lord of Lewes, as a reward for his support of the Conqueror at the Battle of Hastings. The annual Village Fair is held every August and visitors can enjoy live music, traditional games, craft stalls, and delicious local food.
